Palate

Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, this 10-year-old unveils creamy vanilla and honey with ripe orchard fruits—apple and pear—bringing a soft sweetness. Subtle spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) weds faint sherry influence to warm oak. The finish is polished, lingering, and comforting.

Finish

Silky and long, the finish settles into honeyed vanilla with toasted oak and subtle orchard fruit. A warm spice unfurls in the retronasal fade, leaving a gentle citrus zest and soft malt sweetness that lingers gracefully on the palate.

Bushmills traces its whiskey heritage to 1608, when King James I granted Sir Thomas Phillips a licence to distil in County Antrim. The Old Bushmills Distillery was formally registered in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, making it one of the most historic names in Irish whiskey. Production is centred in the village of Bushmills, close to the River Bush, with the distillery long associated with triple-distilled Irish whiskey made from malted barley.
