Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright straw-gold with warm honey hues and a touch of amber.
Nose
Earthy peat smoke drifts with sea-salt air and mineral brine, while a gentle vanilla-toffee sweetness whispers in the background. Iodine and toasted barley lend maritime depth, creating a bold Islay character tempered by subtle bourbon-cask influence.
Palate
Earthy peat smoke and maritime brine lead the palate, mingling with gentle bourbon sweetness—vanilla, toffee and honey. Salted citrus and a hint of ash surface, while the finish stays coastal and clean, with a warm, lingering depth from the 46.3% ABV.
Finish
Long, coastal finish dominated by earthy peat smoke and sea-salt brine. Bourbon-cask influence leaves a gentle vanilla sweetness that lingers, fading into warm caramel and oak, with a subtle resin and maritime mineral tang that persists.
