Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with honeyed warmth and coppery highlights.
Nose
Opulent honey and apricot peaches from the Sauternes finish mingle with a coastal breeze—the salted malt and sea-tinged freshness that defines Bunnahabhain. Vanilla and almond drift in the background with a touch of warm oak, while gentle spice—cinnamon and white pepper—adds depth to this creamy, layered aroma.
Palate
On the palate, a rich maritime sweetness coats the tongue, built on honeyed notes from the Sauternes finish. Ripe stone fruit—apricot and peach—flourish beside subtle orange zest and warm spice, while bourbon-driven creaminess adds depth. The coastal malt carries a clean, saline backbone, delivering a layered, balanced texture with a lingering, honey-tinged finish.
Finish
Long and honeyed, with orchard stone fruit lingering beside a subtle spice. The Sauternes finish threads in sun-warmed sweetness that glides over a clean maritime malt, delivering a layered, textured finale that remains balanced, refined, and inviting for another measured sip.
