Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper highlights and mahogany edges, a warm chestnut core that glows with caramel-bronze luminosity.
Nose
Charred oak frames a smoky, indulgent bouquet of vanilla and caramel, with deep wood influence shaping every note. Brown sugar, toffee and maple drift through baking spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—while hints of leather, cocoa and dried fruit add depth, finishing with a polished, resinous warmth.
Palate
Bold, full-bodied on the palate, with toasted, heavily charred oak framing rich grain and spice. Notes of dark caramel, cocoa and dried fig weave with a touch of smoke, while vanilla adds warmth. The texture is satin-soft, dense and mouth-coating, a signal of extended wood influence. The finish is long and warming, peppery and oak-driven, with lingering sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming, and richly oak-driven, the finish carries charred-wood notes—toasted vanilla, caramel, and spice—lingering with a subtle smokiness and a refined, tannic oak resonance.
