Old Fitzgerald Bottled In Bond Bourbon Whiskey 11 Year Old · 2006 Vintage
In stock
Each spring and fall, a new edition to the Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond series is released. Inspired by an original 1950's Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter, the packaging and series honor both the history of the Old Fitzgerald brand and the historic Bottled-in-Bond designation. The Old Fitzgerald line is well-known for its distilling pedigree, as the brand was first registered in 1884 and was eventually sold to "Pappy" Van Winkle during Prohibition. In 1999, Heaven Hill bought the brand and began distilling it at Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY. Today, in addition to our Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series, the legacy of Old Fitzgerald lives on in our other wheated Bourbons expressions: Larceny Small Batch and Larceny Barrel Proof.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glints and a honeyed, mahogany-tinged edge, radiating warm caramel-bronze hues.
Nose
Caramelized vanilla and toffee bloom with honeyed corn sweetness, while spiced oak and orange zest lift the aroma. Dried cherry, almond, and a hint of cocoa weave in, hinting at refined, aged richness.
Palate
Silky, honeyed on the palate, with lush caramel and vanilla that layer into toasted oak. Notes of creme brulee, orange zest, and gentle baking spice—cinnamon, nutmeg—unfold across a creamy mid-palate. The 11-year age brings depth and a satin texture, finishing with warm caramel, cocoa, and a lingering oak spice that persists pleasantly.
Finish
Long, velvety finish of warm vanilla and toffee, carried by toasted oak. Dark chocolate and dried fruit emerge with cinnamon-kissed spice, then drift to a subtle orange zest and creamy nougat, leaving a refined, lingering sweetness that slowly dries to an oak-tinged, enduring glow.
