This rare and exceptional single barrel bourbon is produced at the Buffalo Trace distillery from a high Rye mashbill, and is bottled at 100 proof. This whiskey is bold and full bodied with masses of rich vanilla, toasted oak and spicy grain.

Rich vanilla notes rise over toasted oak, entwined with rye-forward spice and peppery grain. Warm, sweet and barrel-rich, it hints at caramelized sugars and a creamy, full-bodied bourbon aroma.

Full-bodied and warming, the palate delivers vanilla and toasted oak, with a lively rye-driven spice that lingers into a long, spicy finish.

Finish

Long, warming finish with creamy vanilla and toasted oak, lifted by rye-spice that lingers, leaving caramel sweetness and a final kiss of oak tannins.

Buffalo Trace
Buffalo Trace is based in Frankfort, Kentucky, on a distilling site with roots stretching back more than two centuries. The distillery was previously known as O.F.C. and later George T. Stagg Distillery, with figures such as E.H. Taylor Jr., George T. Stagg and Albert B. Blanton all playing important roles in its development. It was one of the few American distilleries allowed to continue operating during Prohibition, producing whiskey for medicinal use.
