Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with coppery highlights and mahogany depths.
Nose
Sherry notes bloom: fig and raisin with orange zest, toffee and cocoa. Candied cherry and almond paste mingle with spice—cinnamon and clove—over warm oak. A maritime breath of salt and sea spray lifts the sweetness, yielding a balanced, decadent aroma as the glass opens.
Palate
Silky on the palate, with dried apricot and fig, braided with almond paste and vanilla. Sherry-influenced sweetness adds toffee, cocoa and a warm spice that glides over soft oak. A subtle coastal breeze and saline lift the finish, leaving fruit and nut notes with graceful warmth.
Finish
Long and refined, this finish coats the palate with maritime brine and warm oak. Dried fruit, almond and a hint of sherry sweetness emerge from the cask, then fade into delicate barley sweetness. A whisper of spice and a trace of smoke linger, leaving a clean, elegant afterglow.
