A Bowmore single malt released for Feis Ile 2019, this 15 year old was bottled in 2019 at 51.7% ABV after maturation in bourbon casks. The festival release was limited to around 3,000 bottles.
Bourbon cask maturation brings vanilla sweetness, gentle spice and soft oak, complementing Bowmore’s balanced Islay style where peat smoke, citrus and light maritime notes are integrated with a subtle underlying fruitiness.
