The very first of our whiskeys to be released, Boulder Bourbon has been a crowd favorite for years. Incredibly soft, approachable bourbon with distinct apple notes throughout, this bourbon earned a double gold medal from the esteemed San Francisco Spirits Challenge.
Less sweet and less heat. Our high malted barley recipe yields a soft, approachable bourbon with apple butter, cinnamon and kettle corn notes.
51% corn, 44% malted barley, 5% rye; Pot distilled and aged in a dry, mountain climate.

Nose
Bright apple notes lead the aroma, carrying through with apple butter richness. Subtle cinnamon spice fans the scent, while hints of kettle corn suggest caramelized sweetness. The soft malted barley lends a clean, grainy core, kept fresh by the dry mountain climate for a poised, approachable bouquet.
Palate
Soft, approachable and smooth on the palate, this Boulder Bourbon delivers orchard fruit front and center: crisp apple with a touch of apple butter, settled by cinnamon and subtle kettle corn. The high-malted barley provides plush texture and restrained sweetness, while the 42% ABV keeps heat at bay. Finishes clean and lightly spicy, with lingering fruit and cereal notes.
Finish
Long, warm finish built on orchard sweetness—apple butter and baked apple—softened by cinnamon and kettle corn. The dry mountain climate lends a clean, barley-driven fade, with vanilla and oak lingering gracefully as the spice gently echoes away.
