This whiskey is crafted to demonstrate that peat flavors can be a piece of the whiskey, not the defining attribute. Only lightly peated, this whiskey is distilled using the same slow methods as our New American single malt before resting in virgin American Oak barrels in Colorado’s semi-arid environment for at least 3 years.
New flavors on old traditions. Springtime mountain rain, spruce tip, creme brulee, earthy and rich.
Aged exclusively in freshly charred, American oak barrels.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-bronze edges and a honey-gold glow.
Nose
Whisper of peat threads through a soft veil of vanilla and toasted virgin American oak. Spruce tip and spring rain mingle with creme brulee sweetness, delivering a clean, subtle smoke that never overwhelms. Earthy, resinous notes rise—wet stones and forest floor—composed and refined, like mountain air in a sunlit alpine afternoon.
Palate
Lightly peated, the palate reveals whispering smoke with spruce tip and a hint of alpine mineral. A creamy core of creme brulee and vanilla from virgin American oak unfolds, earthy richness grounding sweetness. Toasted oak and subtle peat carry through a balanced, medium-long finish.
Finish
Soft peat leaves a gentle, warming trail that segues into creamy vanilla and crème brûlée, anchored by toasted virgin American oak. Subtle spruce tip and mineral notes drift away on a dry, resinous finish, like mountain rain on warm stone, with a lingering wisp of smoke and oak.
