This is the second release in the in the Barrel Finish collection. A limited release, Templeton Rye Series 2 is matured in Caribbean rum casks to impart exceptional flavour and smoothness.

Thanks to the Caribbean Rum cask maturation aromas of pineapple, banana and a hint of spice intermingle on the nose. The tropical fruit flavours continue on the palate, accompanied by citrus, cocao nibs and a peppery oakiness.

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.

Nose

A bright tropical nose of pineapple and banana, intermingled with a subtle spice note from the Caribbean rum cask maturation.

Palate

On the palate, tropical pineapple and banana unfold with citrus zest, guided by cacao nibs and a peppery oak backbone. Caribbean rum-cask maturity lends a smooth, fruit-forward warmth that lingers into a gently spiced finish.

Finish

Long, tropical finish infuses pineapple and banana with citrus brightness, while cacao nibs and peppery oak linger on the palate. A warm, spice-kissed sweetness rounds out the rum-cask finish, leaving a creamy, lasting glow.
