Each year, a limited number of Templeton's finest barrels are selected from the aging stocks of straight rye whiskey. These barrels are then carefully vatted together, creating a barrel strength whiskey that showcases the Templeton rye expression in its purest form. Each barrel chosen has a 95% rye and 5% malted barley mash bill, and will vary in age to deliver a unique annual release. The 2020 Barrel Strength delivers aromas of ripe apples and oak with delicate hints of spiced orange and dried apricot.

The barrel-strength warmth remains integrated, yielding a thick, velvety texture that leans into toasted oak. Finishes long, spicy, and fruit-driven, with a lingering apricot note.

Long, warming finish with barrel-strength rye spice meshing with toasted oak. Ripe apple sweetness lingers, while delicate notes of spiced orange and dried apricot drift through the finish, leaving a bright citrus-tinged fade.
