Sweet butterscotch and vanilla lead the aroma, mingling with warm spice. Cherry and crisp green apple add a lively fruit lift, yielding an orchard-bright bouquet that promises depth and balanced warmth.

Palate

Fruit-forward on the palate, balanced by toasted oak; mellow, smooth, with a vibrant mouthfeel.

Finish

Long, lingering spice that warms and evolves on the sip—pepper and toasted oak weave through vanilla-tinged sweetness, fading into a refined, persistent glow that invites another taste.

Templeton takes its name from the small town of Templeton, Iowa, where rye whiskey became closely tied to local Prohibition-era history. The modern whiskey brand was revived in 2006 by Keith Kerkhoff and Scott Bush, drawing on that local story while building Templeton into one of the better-known names in American rye.
