Nose
Toasted malt and caramel greet the nose, unfolding into orchard fruit—apple and pear—kissed by vanilla from new American oak. Almond and a nod to spice—cinnamon and clove—emerge as the oak breathes. Clean, bold, and distinctively Northwest in character, inviting the first sip.
Palate
On the palate, this Westward single malt presents a generous, malty richness with a creamy, full-bodied texture. Caramelized barley, vanilla and toffee layer with orchard fruit and orange zest, while hints of cocoa emerge. Baking spices—cinnamon and clove—add warmth, carried by a subtle char and toasted oak. The finish is long and warming, leaving a citrus-tinged brightness and lingering spice.
