This cask-finished whiskey reflects the vibrance of the Valley’s signature grape while allowing the bold, robust notes of our whiskey to shine through. Our Pinot Noir Cask begins with our original Westward American Single Malt, which is then finished for up to two years in French Oak wine casks from a handful of award-winning producers in the region.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery undertones and a wine-warmed, ruby-hued glow.
Nose
Red cherry, raspberry and cranberry lead with strawberry highlights, lifted by delicate rose and a whisper of forest floor. The Pinot Noir cask lends wine-kissed vanilla, soft spice, and toasted oak, weaving with the malt’s sweetness into a refined, velvety aroma that hints at elegant tannins and a subtle mineral lift.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with red fruit brightness—ripe cherry, raspberry and cranberry—woven with Pinot Noir wine spice. Vanilla, caramel and cocoa from the malt mingle with refined French oak tannins, shaping an elegant, velvety frame and a warm, lingering finish that invites another sip.
Finish
A wine-kissed, lingering finish where bright red berry notes of raspberry and cherry drift with refined oak. Velvet tannins cradle the warmth as subtle spice and cocoa echo the Pinot Noir cask, leaving a graceful, lasting glow of vanilla and toasted wood.
