This superb single barrel Bourbon has been matured for between 7 and 10 years before being bottled at a satisfying strength of 100 proof (50% ABV). Four Roses Single Barrel has a high rye content in the mash bill for added spice and complexity. It is complex, full bodied, and surprisingly smooth with a long, mellow finish. You will want to savour the taste of this again and again. A great value single barrel Bourbon!

An inviting nose of dried spice with ripe pear, cocoa, vanilla and maple syrup. The bouquet blends warm sweetness with subtle cacao and creamy vanilla, hinting at depth and elegant complexity.

Palate

Hints of ripe plum and cherries drive a robust, full-bodied palate. Spicy rye adds warmth, while cocoa, vanilla and maple enrich the center, finishing mellow, smooth and long.

Finish

Silky and refined, this finish lingers with a gentle warmth, layering delicate spice with vanilla, cocoa and a whisper of maple. It carries through slowly, ending in a soft, mellow sweetness that invites the next pour.

Four Roses
Four Roses dates to 1888, when Paul Jones Jr. trademarked the name in Kentucky after moving his business to Louisville’s Whiskey Row. Its history took several unusual turns after that: the Paul Jones Company bought Frankfort Distilling in 1922, which helped Four Roses survive Prohibition through medicinal whiskey sales, and Seagram later acquired the brand, eventually withdrawing its straight bourbon from the US while keeping Four Roses strong in export markets such as Europe and Japan.
