A new release from the rejuvinated Lowland distillery, Bladnoch. This bottling is a 17 year old single malt that has been matured in ex Bourbon casks from 2001 untill 2015 and then finished in 2 batches of Californian red wine casks for the remaining period. Just 6000 bottles have been released globally.
A rich nose of dried fruit, coffee, vanilla and toffee. The palate is bright and smooth with spicy oak, prunes, cherry and sweet cinnamon spice. The finish is fruity, malty and complex with peppery spicy wood to end.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with a warm coppery glow and a hint of ruby at the rim, reminiscent of sunset and wine-warmed edges.
Nose
A rich nose of dried fruit, coffee, vanilla and toffee, inviting warmth with a gentle sweetness and polished depth.
Palate
Bright and smooth on the palate, with a spine of spicy oak supporting prune and cherry fruit, finished with a delicate kiss of sweet cinnamon spice.
Finish
Long, fruity and malty, the finish lingers with peppery, spicy oak, weaving in subtle dried-fruit echoes for a warm, complex finale.
