A new limited edition 10-year-old single malt, described as the ‘most accessible expression yet’.
The whisky has been matured in ex-Bourbon casks for a minimum of 10 years, and bottled at 46.7% abv without chill filtration.
Described as having ‘grassy, floral aromas’ with ‘ginger, coconut, gooseberry and vanilla’ on the palate.
Bladnoch 10 Year Old is described as an ‘everyday’ whisky.
The 10-year-old joins Bladnoch Samsara, Bladnoch Adela and Bladnoch Talia in the distillery’s core, but limited, range.
Bladnoch distillery was purchased as a silent entity by David Prior in 2015, and restarted production in June 2017.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright golden straw with warm honey-amber edges.
Nose
Grassy, herb‑garden aromas mingle with delicate florals, bright and inviting. A gentle spine of ginger lends subtle spice, while creamy coconut and fresh gooseberry provide tropical lift. Vanilla weaves through the bouquet, carrying a touch of Bourbon cask sweetness and a light oak echo. Clean, approachable and distinctly Lowland in character.
Palate
On the palate, ginger, coconut, gooseberry and vanilla mingle with a grassy, floral brightness. Creamy vanilla carries a tropical lift while crisp gooseberry adds zing; the ex-Bourbon maturation yields a balanced, easy-drinking sweetness with a touch of spice.
Finish
Long, graceful finish with warm vanilla and subtle ginger, a whisper of coconut and gooseberry, and a clean grassy echo that lingers softly.
