One of the BenRiach single cask selection Batch 14 releases for 2017.

This Speyside single malt was distilled on 21st October 2006 before being filled to a virgin oak casks to mature for 10 years.

Bottled in June 2017 at a strength of 58.9% abv, only 196 bottles were produced.

There's deep sweetened oak notes on the nose, alongside honey, candied citrus and soft fruits.

The palate is creamy, with spiced toasted coconut, hints of pineapple candies and fresh summer fruits.

Long, creamy finish with warm oak and gentle spice. The coconut-spiced sweetness lingers, framed by pineapple candies and fresh summer fruits, as the intensity softens into a lasting, honeyed warmth.

Benriach
(ben-REE-ach) Benriach was founded in 1898 by John Duff beside Longmorn, south of Elgin in Speyside. It opened during the late Victorian whisky boom but was forced to stop distilling in 1900 after the Pattison Crash, leaving the site silent for decades while its floor maltings continued to supply neighbouring Longmorn. Production finally resumed in 1965, bringing Benriach back after one of the longest silent periods in Speyside.
