One of the seven BenRiach single cask selection Batch 14 released for 2017.
This Speyside single malt was distilled on 10th June 2005 before being placed in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask to mature for 12 years.
Bottled in June 2017 at a strength of 58.8% abv, only 625 bottles have been produced.
The nose opens to crisp oak and citrus peel, with raisins, prunes, and a touch of cinnamon and black pepper.
The palate has crisp stem ginger with orchard fruits yellow plums before a rich golden syrup and barley sugar finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with warm amber depth and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Crisp oak and citrus peel open, revealing dark fruit richness of raisins and prunes. A subtle kiss of cinnamon and black pepper lingers, carried by a refined hint of Oloroso sherry from the first-fill cask.
Palate
Crisp stem ginger with orchard fruits and yellow plums, leading to a rich golden syrup and barley sugar finish.
Finish
A long, indulgent finish of rich golden syrup, brightened by barley sugar, leaving a warm, honeyed sweetness that lingers on the palate.
