Don't be fooled by the relatively young age; this is a superb expression from Ben Nevis, both in complexity and character. Yielding only 88 bottles in total, this eight year old Single Malt was matured in Bourbon Oak before a final finishing in a Sherry Octave. This maturation imparts notes of tart fruits, clotted cream, white pepper and Victoria sponge cake.

Tart orchard fruits sharpen with citrus sparkle, giving way to luscious clotted cream and gentle vanilla. White pepper yields a crisp, peppery lift as Victoria sponge cake sweetness threads through the mid-palate. The sherry Octave finish deepens with nutty, resinous notes, leaving a warm, elegant length of fruit, cream and spice.
