Ben Nevis Ingelred Single Cask #609 Whisky 15 Year Old · 2007 Vintage
In stock
In 2021, this whisky, which had been aged in Bourbon casks, was transferred to a Pedro Ximenez sherry cask. The intention was for it to let it rest there for six months, aiming to make a good whisky even better. However, the pandemic intervened, and it was not until a year and a half later that it could be bottled.
The result is a whisky with distinct characteristics from the sherry cask. The aroma is reminiscent of sherry, with prominent notes of figs. The taste offers hints of caramelized sugar, rich dark dried fruits, culminating in a lusciously sweet and honeyed finish.
