Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a copper-gilded glow and mahogany edges, a warm, wine-rich hue that catches light with ruby-tinged reflections.
Nose
Opulent sherry notes rise from the glass, with prune, fig, and raisin interlaced by orange zest and caramel. Nutty almond and walnut mingle with dark chocolate, cinnamon, and clove, while a polished oak sweetness hints at leather and tobacco, finished by a warm, refined vanilla glow.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, the palate opens with rich dark fruit—raisins, fig, and plum—coated in velvety sherry warmth. Roasted almond, toffee and cocoa weave with oak and a whisper of leather. Spices—cinnamon, clove, nutmeg—build warmth, while orange zest adds a bright lift. The finish is long and nutty, with malt, cocoa, and a peppery glow that lingers.
Finish
Opulent and long, the finish coats the palate with polished oak, dark chocolate, and burnt sugar, then opens to dried cherries and orange zest. Sherry-derived complexity lingers, a warm kiss of spice and toffee, fading to a velvety, resinous warmth.
