Colour

Nose

Espresso and bittersweet chocolate deepen the core, while cinnamon and clove spark a bright spice. Warm vanilla-nut notes lend elegance, with a subtle bracing edge from the high ABV.

Palate

Vibrant and opulent on the palate, this cask-strength Ben Nevis unfurls sherried richness: dark raisin, fig and date weave with cocoa, toffee and orange zest, while cinnamon and clove spice sharpen the edge. Full, velvety texture with oak tannins, then a long, warming finish of prune, pepper and chocolate.

Finish

Long, luxurious finish driven by rich sherry oak, with dried fig and raisin sweetness, dark chocolate and espresso, and warm spices of cinnamon and clove. Velvety and persistent, it fades slowly into toasted oak and gentle nuttiness.
