Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 1 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
The first batch of Balvenie's Tun 1509 which is comprised of seven European oak Sherry butts and thirty-five American oak barrels which are then allowed to marry together for several months.
Replaces the Tun 1401 range that ran for 9 batches before they realised they needed a bigger marrying tun. Tun 1509 now holds four times as much liquid!
David Stewart (Master distiller at Balvenie for over 50 years) has performed wonders again with this small batch marrying of some premium casks from the warehouse.
Stunning mouth filling and complex Balvenie that ranks alongside the best of the Tun 1401 range.
