Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany-tinged edge.
Nose
Opulent and warming, the aroma unfurls with orange zest, ripe orchard fruit, and toasted almond, enrobed in rich sherry sweetness. Caramel and vanilla mingle with dark chocolate, while cinnamon and clove weave through polished oak—an inviting, heady invitation to taste.
Palate
Luxuriously velvety and full-bodied on the palate, the Tun 1401 Batch 4 delivers a sherried richness that coats the tongue. Dried fig and raisin notes mingle with orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate, while cinnamon and clove spice thread through toasted oak. Warm, creamy texture with a long, indulgent finish.
Finish
Long, opulent finish of sherry-soaked oak with dark prune and fig, a kiss of orange zest, and cocoa-dusted spice. The warmth lingers, tapering to toasted almond and a velvet, leather-tinged afterglow.
