An extremly rich and decadent 29 year old Auchentoshan Single Malt. Distilled in 1988 and matured in Spanish oak barrels before being finished in Pedro Ximenez.. The result is an exceptional sherried whisky with Intense dark natural color and delicious fruit and spices. Delicious and mature aromas of stewed sherried fruit and rich toasted wood. This is a Lowlander with delicious sherry influences. A great Auchentoshan that is also presented in a striking presentation box.

Colour
Deep, natural color—rich amber with pronounced mahogany depths and a coppery glow.
Nose
Delicious and mature aromas of stewed sherried fruit and rich toasted wood, with a touch of warm spices from the Pedro Ximenez finish.
Palate
Opulent and velvety, the palate unfolds with plush raisin, fig and baked plum, wrapped in dark toffee and cocoa. Pedro Ximenez sweetness blankets the mouth, offset by subtle oak spice— cinnamon and clove— with a touch of nutmeg. Rich, creamy texture lingers long, finishing on warm sherry fruit and refined spice.
Finish
Velvety, long finish layered with warm Pedro Ximénez sweetness, dark fig and raisin, cocoa and spice. The oak lingers through the palate, leaving a refined, warming glow that fades to a satin-smooth, dessert-like afterglow.
