Colour

Nose

Rich red-fruit aroma dominates, with ripe blackberry, black cherry and cassis woven with the wine-cask sweetness from Sassicaia. Vanilla and almond paste lend a creamy, confectionary edge, while wisps of cocoa, toasted oak and gentle spice (cinnamon, clove) add depth. A faint coastal brine hints at Arran's island character, lifting the bouquet.

Palate

Opulent red fruit leads the palate—ripe black cherry, plum and cassis—drinking with wine-barrel sweetness from the Sassicaia cask. Velvet yet substantial, married by oak spice: hints of vanilla, cinnamon and clove mingle with toasted oak. Rich chocolate and espresso surface mid-palate, supported by satin tannins. Long, dignified finish of dried fruit, leather, tobacco, and a saline whisper.
