Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a sun-bronze, mahogany-tinged glow.

Nose

Grapey Pinneau de Charentes with spiced apple strudel, toffee, chocolate and sweet oak.

Palate

Grape and toffee lead the palate, with toasted oak for backbone. Lemon curd adds brightness, while ripe apricot and champagne truffles bring plush fruitiness and a touch of confection that lingers gracefully.

Finish

Lemon curd sponge cake lingers with fizzy spice, orange rind and white chocolate, finishing on delicate iced Danish pastries.
