Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, molten amber with copper edges and a mahogany glow.
Nose
An intensely peated aroma, searing with ginger spice and brisk tobacco. Beneath the smoke lies creamy malt, bright pineapple and orange zest, with a whisper of smoked sheep cheese adding a savory, intriguing edge.
Palate
On the palate, a bracing, peppery edge with saline tang and relentless smoke. Dark chocolate notes mingle with sea salt, while a hint of pink grapefruit brightens the finish.
Finish
Warming, extremely long and spicy with white pepper and sea salt, smoked ham and trace of orange zest.
