Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery undertones and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Curiously dry and almost musty, like a damp warehouse floor. With a splash of water, it unfurls oily, nutty notes—roasted Brazil nut and fragrant woodsmoke—brightened by a distinctive herbal top note.
Palate
Peppery, warming and richly textured, with smoked cashew and pecan notes, smoky toffee, brown sugar and spice. The finish is long and bittersweet, building layers of salty, tarry peat, aniseed, leather and smoky bonfire embers.
Finish
An exceptionally long, bittersweet finish that lingers with salty, tarry peat smoke, aniseed, leather and bonfire embers. Warming spices weave through, leaving a mineral, resinous undertone that slowly fades into smoke.
