Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones, a burnished bronze glow.
Nose
Smoked cream, peppermint and toffee surge on the nose, with Ardbeg’s fennel and pine resin. Distant earthy bonfires mingle with herbal notes and tropical fruit hints, finished by a whisper of candle wax.
Palate
An extremely vibrant, hot peppery mouthfeel opens to sherbet lemon sweetness, with candied apples, pears and orange. Hints of carbolic soap and tar emerge, followed by creamy toffee, aniseed and a final kiss of chilli pepper.
Finish
Long, mellow and deeply lingering, this finish unfolds with creamy fudge and soft antiseptic notes, echoing gentle warmth through Ardbeg’s smoke. An elegant, soothing finale that lingers gracefully.
