Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold glow and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Velvety sherry wraps around the nose, releasing dark plums, dried figs and raisins as primers. Orange zest and cocoa notes mingle with a touch of toffee, while toasted almond and cedar spice lend warmth and depth. Subtle oak and a whisper of espresso finish the aroma with refined, dessert-like richness.
Palate
Velvety and balanced on the palate, sherry-cask generosity lends rich sweetness to malt and oak. Dried plum, fig and raisin unfold into caramel, vanilla and almond, while gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—lifts the profile. Subtle tobacco and orange zest add depth, finishing warm, softly nutty, and long.
Finish
A long, elegant finish with sherry-cask warmth—ripe dried fruits, fig and raisin, unfolding toffee and dark chocolate. Spiced oak threads through, leaving a refined, silky tail that lingers softly.
