Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold shimmer and a dusky mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose, a signature of this rare release: prune, raisin and fig mingle with toffee and almond. Orange zest, vanilla and cocoa thread through toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove add quiet spice. Warm, refined and inviting, with a poised sweetness hinting at vintage maturity.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied on the palate, this Grant’s carries a gentle sherried sweetness with raisins and fig, layered over polished toffee and vanilla. Subtle cinnamon spice, roasted almond and a delicate oak backbone add depth, while a velvety, slightly-oily texture carries the finish long and warm with a final hint of cocoa and dried fruit.
Finish
Long, refined finish with warming spice and soft sherry sweetness. Dried fruit, almond and toffee emerge, balanced by a gentle oak lift that lingers gracefully on the palate, leaving a persistent, walnut-honey glow and a whisper of cocoa.
