WILDMOOR is a new and epic range of blended Scotch whiskies from William Grant & Sons, inspired by the Scottish wilderness. Drawn from the William Grant & Sons family private reserve of whiskies - considered to be the widest and most extensive in the industry - these are extremely rare and prestige liquids from across Scotland.
The 40 Year Old draws inspiration from the imposing dark mountains of Northern Scotland. An extraordinarily intense blend of rare grain and Highland malts enhanced by the addition of Ghosted Distillery stock. This luxurious, rich, and elegant Whisky is finished in a Pedro Ximenez cask.

Colour
Dense amber, rich and deep, with mahogany undertones and a warm copper-gold glow.
Nose
Inviting vanilla and caramel lift from the glass, woven with indulgent sherry sweetness from the Pedro Ximenez finish. Oak-driven warmth carries hints of dried fruits and a delicate, aged elegance that signals decades of maturation.
Palate
Silky, opulent and deeply sherried, the palate unfolds with vanilla bean and toffee, then layers of PX-driven raisin, fig and dark caramel. Subtle cocoa and oak spice weave through, finishing long, warm and refined with a velvet, whisky-glass polish.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfolds with vanilla and caramel fading into a velvet Pedro Ximénez kiss. Dried fruit, fig and toasted oak linger, wrapped in warm, refined sweetness.
