Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery hues and a rich sherry-bronze glow.
Nose
An alluring, polished aroma of orchard fruits and vanilla, enriched by sherry's raisiny sweetness. Dried figs and cocoa mingle with toasted almond, toffee and orange zest, while subtle spice and oak lend structure. A refined, velvety perfume that hints at decades of cask aging and a warm, luxurious finish.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, with a creamy, slightly oily mouthfeel. Rich dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—meet orange zest, vanilla and toffee. Sherry-influenced oak brings cocoa, spice (cinnamon, nutmeg) and a warming sweetness. The palate widens into a long, refined finish of toasted wood and cocoa echoes.
Finish
Silky, long finish with velvet oak and a soft sherry lift. Dried fig, orange zest and toasted almond unfold into cocoa, while gentle spice threads warmth through the tail. The sweetness slowly fades to a refined, lingering glow that invites the next sip.
