Distillery Bottling

Produced by the White Oak distillery, in Hyogo near Kobe, Tokinoka is an approachable blended whisky from one of the original whisky producers in Japan.

Tokinoka means 'fragrance of time' in Japanese and is well represented in this well balanced whisky with cereal, vanilla and stoned fruit flavours prevalent making for a whisky perfect for sipping or served over ice and with soda in a highball.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Golden honey with warm amber edges, a bright, sunlit glow.

Nose

Notes of creamy vanilla, cereal grain and ripe stone fruits rise from the glass, delivering a poised, inviting aroma with a gentle sweetness.

Palate

Silky on the palate, Tokinoka reveals a creamy cereal backbone, threaded with vanilla sweetness. Mid-palate unfurls delicate stone-fruit notes, yielding a balanced, approachable profile. The finish is clean and smooth, with a subtle, lingering warmth inviting another sip.

Finish

A soft, creamy vanilla carries a delicate cereal grain into a lingering echo of stone fruit. Subtle spice and a whisper of oak fade smoothly, leaving a warm, clean finish that invitingly beckons the next sip.
