Distillery Bottling

Produced by the White Oak distillery, in Hyogo near Kobe, Tokinoka is an approachable blended whisky from one of the original whisky producers in Japan.

Tokinoka means 'fragrance of time' in Japanese and is well represented in this well balanced whisky bottled at 50% ABV and is a blend of 50% malt whisky and 50% aged whisky aged in bourbon, Xerez Sherry and virgin oak casks.

The resulting whisky is oak led, stoned fruit heavy with underlying cutrus notes perfect for sipping neat or over ice.

Rich amber-gold with honeyed warmth and coppery glints, a sunlit oak glow.

Nose

Oak-forward and softly perfumed, this nose blooms with ripe stone fruits—peach, apricot, and plum—balanced by a bright citrus zest. Subtle vanilla and a whisper of toffee mingle with delicate spice from the bourbon, Xerez Sherry, and virgin oak casks, lending a creamy, inviting sweetness. An elegant fragrance that speaks of time and restraint.

Palate

Oak-led and balanced, the palate unfurls with lush stone fruits—peach and apricot—layered over bright citrus zest. Gentle sweetness from bourbon and sherry cask aging lingers, complemented by vanilla-spice notes, and finishes clean, warm, and long.

Finish

Oak-driven and lingering, the finish reveals ripe stone fruits with citrus zest, underpinned by a gentle spice and toasted oak that echo long after the swallow.
