Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent sherry-soaked oak unfurls in the glass, with dark fruits: fig, raisin and date, plus orange zest, toasted almond and a drizzle of toffee. Hints of cocoa, cinnamon and leather rise on polished wood, finishing with refined velvety sweetness and a whisper of spice.
Palate
Silky and richly textured, this Macallan unfolds with dark fig and prune, layered with sultana and caramel sweetness. Sherry-cask depth brings cocoa, orange zest, and warm spice through plush oak, delivering a refined, velvety palate. The finish is long and elegant, with leather, tobacco, and a soft spice glow lingering.
Finish
Opulent and exceptionally long, the finish coats the palate with dried fruit and orange zest, enriched by dark chocolate and spice. Sherry-influenced warmth lingers with polished oak, leather and a whisper of tobacco, fading to a delicate almond-honey glow.
