Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a rich mahogany depth, kissed by coppery and ruby highlights that glow as light passes through the glass.
Nose
Opulent sherry dominates the nose, with fig, raisin and dried orange peel harmonizing with ripe plum. Lush vanilla and cocoa mingle with toasted oak, while cinnamon and clove lend spice; a whisper of leather lingers.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, the palate unfolds with dark fruit compote—fig, date and raisin—woven with orange zest, cocoa and toffee. Spiced oak threads through notes of cinnamon and clove, delivering a polished, velvety mouthfeel. A warm, lingering finish blends fudgy sweetness with resinous oak and a noble, whispered tobacco nuance.
Finish
Silky and immensely long, the finish unfurls with rich dried fruits—fig, prune, and raisin—interwoven with dark chocolate and orange zest. Sherry-spiced warmth lingers, giving way to velvety oak, toasted almond, and cacao nib. A refined, persistent glow coats the palate, fading to an elegant echo of sweetness and spice.
