Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, sun-kissed amber with a subtle purple undertone.
Nose
Opulent sherry perfume dominates, spilling dark fig and raisin, with orange zest and a hint of prune. Rich cocoa and toasted almond mingle with cinnamon and clove, while mahogany oak and a whisper of leather lend cellar-dried elegance. At 59.7% the aroma is voluptuous and warmly fruity, with a glossy fruitcake richness that promises lush sweetness underneath.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this sherry-draped palate delivers fig, raisin and dark plum, lacquered with chocolate and coffee notes. Spices—cinnamon, clove, a flicker of orange zest—weave through velvet tannins and rich oak. A long, warming finish lingers, framed by subtle leather and resinous sweetness.
Finish
Long, opulent finish with velvety sherry sweetness lingering over dark fruit, fig and date notes, touches of cacao and espresso. Spices—cinnamon and clove—and toasted oak weave through, leaving a warming, lingering fade of orange zest and roasted nut.
