Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich copper-amber with mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma from Jerez: prunes, raisins and fig swirl with toffee, dark chocolate and orange zest. Vanilla, cedar and spice from the oak rise, delivering a velvety, leather-tinged warmth—Macallan's hallmark Sherry Oak bouquet.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, this Macallan delivers deep sherry richness—raisin, fig and prune—woven with dark chocolate and orange zest. Plush oak, cinnamon and clove mingle with velvety tannins, yielding a full-bodied, refined profile that lingers with toffee, cocoa and warm spice into a long, elegant finish.
Finish
Long and velvety, the finish coats the palate with rich dried fruit, fig, orange peel and dark cocoa, underscored by toffee sweetness. Spices such as cinnamon and clove emerge against polished oak, then gradually fade to a warm, lingering sherry glow that quietly lingers.
