A seven year old release from The English Whisky company based in Norfolk who were the first new English distillery to produce whisky in over 100 years back in 2006.
Only 249 bottles released form a single cask.
Natural Colour and non chill filtered and bottled at 60% ABV.
A very fresh, delicate and complex nose does not prepare you for the big and bold explosion of the palate, takes water well and opens up into a summery sponge cake in an English barley field of a whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural gold with warm honey-amber highlights, a bright sunlit straw hue.
Nose
White chocolate chip cookies, pear frangipane and malted milk biscuits mingle with fresh barley and apple blossom, touched by white pepper and vanillin oak, finished with lemon icing.
Palate
Bold vanilla oak and custard ride over apple pie, with white pepper mellowing into ripe pears, lemon bonbons and cake sponge lingering.
Finish
Lime marmalade lingers with vanilla sponge, green apples and pears, custard cream biscuits, and a lasting peppery oak with fragrant spices.
