Not only did HRH Charles III open the English Distillery, he also owns some maturing casks from the distillery. This stunning release commemorates the Coronation of King Charles III with a single malt that has been matured in both ex-bourbon casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
On the nose there are aromas of toffee, cherries and baked apples. On the palate, the toffee turns to chocolate and is joined by tastes of nuts and figs.

Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Toffee sweetness opens the nose, entwined with ripe cherries and baked apples. A warm, caramel-rich fruit aroma with subtle oak spice from its dual ex-bourbon and Pedro Ximénez cask maturation.
Palate
Toffee deepens on the palate, giving way to dark chocolate notes. Roasted nuts and dried figs provide texture and sweetness, with a subtle sherried warmth from the Pedro Ximenez casks and a whisper of bourbon influence.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfurls with caramel toffee and dark chocolate, fading into roasted nuts and figs, carried by the PX sherry influence and a warm, lingering sweetness.
