Colour

Gilded amber with sunlit honey highlights and a coppery glow.

Nose

Luxurious, honeyed aroma of apricot and white peach, draped in Sauternes sweetness. Marmalade, orange blossom and vanilla mingle with softly toasted oak and almond paste. A bright citrus zest lifts the nose, while delicate spice and waxy undergrowth hint at the cask influence.

Palate

Opulent and syrupy, the palate delivers honeyed apricot and candied orange, with peach and tropical notes entwined in Sauternes sweetness. Rich vanilla, toffee and almond mingle with oak spices, while a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel carries a long finish of dried fruit, orange zest and a warming kiss of alcohol.

Finish

Opulent, long finish of honeyed Sauternes brightness, with ripe apricot, peach and marmalade, softly layered with vanilla and faint orange zest. Subtle spice and polished oak drift in, warming the palate and lingering into a velvet, enduring afterglow.
