Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and coppery glints.
Nose
Griddled fresh pineapple dusted with vanilla icing sugar, banana foam sweets, buttery shortbread, toasted oats and demerara sugar-topped custard tarts.
Palate
On the palate, a tropical fruit chorus rides the big rum influence: creamy rum truffles with demerara-sugar mocha, touched by cinnamon dust and a zing of waxy lime. Spiced lemon curd and sappy vanilla oak weave through, while peppery almond milk lends a dry, lifted finish.
Finish
Long and indulgent, the finish blends rum baba with pineapple chunks and bright green apple, shaded by vanilla icing, dusted with sugared almonds, and crowned by a playful, fizzy pick-and-mix spice that lingers.
