A very special limited small batch release from The English Whisky Company. Lest We Forget commemorates the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War. This special vatting of casks from 2007, 2009, and 2011 includes some that were specifically filled on Armistice Day, the 11th of November. A rich, spicy single malt whisky with sweet, fruity flavours, savoury notes of earth and leather, and gentle smoke. A donation will be made to the Poppy Appeal for every bottle sold.
This is Non Chill-filtered, bottled with Natural Colour and Hand filled. Bottled at 43% ABV and a release of only 1499 bottles worldwide. Each bottle is Individually numbered.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with honey-gold hues and coppery undertones, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Rich woody notes with an underlying sweetness, offering a warm, inviting aroma.
Palate
Woody and rich on the palate, with a gentle earthiness and soft warm leather notes. Subtle hints of distant wood fires weave through the texture, lending quiet smoke and depth to the mouthfeel.
Finish
Long, warm and woody, the finish lingers with spice and soft leather, a touch of earth grounding the sweetness. Distant wood smoke remains, fading with grace.
