Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent and warming, the nose opens with sherry-rich depth—prune, fig and dark raisin mingle with orange zest and toffee. Polished oak and cocoa drift in, a touch of leather and nutmeg adding elegance, while a maritime hint lends depth and anticipation of a long, refined palate.
Palate
Concentrated and opulent, the palate unfolds with dark prune and raisin, backed by espresso, cocoa and a kiss of orange zest. Sherry influence weaves praline sweetness through toasted oak, while clove and cinnamon linger. Full, velvety and warming, it coats the mouth with resinous oak and finishes long, with a subtle graphite‑mineral note and lingering sweetness.
Finish
An opulent, long finish where sherry influence coats the palate with dark fig and raisin, cocoa and toffee. Spiced oak and a whisper of leather linger, warming to a gentle, drying finish that tightens the spices into a refined, lasting glow.
