Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey warmth and a hint of copper.
Nose
Sherry-infused aroma of dark fruit and spice. Raisin, fig and orange peel mingle with toffee and vanilla, layered over toasted oak. A touch of almond and cocoa adds depth, while gentle malt sweetness lifts the bouquet into a warm, refined, inviting aroma.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, this Tamnavulin delivers orchard- and citrus-fruited sweetness lifted by warm spice and subtle sherry influence. Creamy vanilla and almond mingle with orange zest, honeyed apple, and toasted oak, unfolding into a creamy, slightly spicy finish with gentle tannins and a clean, lingering warmth.
Finish
Long, honeyed and softly spiced, with vanilla-fruited sweetness giving way to gentle oak. A citrusy lift lingers, warm and silky, closing in a refined, seasoned finish.
