Deep amber-gold with burnished copper highlights and a smoky, sunlit warmth.

Nose

Rich vanilla opens the nose, followed by smoked cured meat and baked apple aromas, complemented by delicate citrus notes.

Palate

Stewed fruits meld with creamy milk chocolate, with underlying citrus notes lending a subtle lift to a smooth, rounded palate.

Finish

Lingering peat smoke coats the palate, leaving a long, smoky finish that softens into subtle sweetness and a whisper of citrus.

(Le-Chig) Ledaig is the heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky made at Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. The name means “safe haven” and was the original name used when John Sinclair founded the distillery in 1798, making it one of Scotland’s older surviving distilling sites.
